Posted March 7, 2022 Hi guys, I need your help. I built my pc about 2 months ago, with this specs: Asus rod strix b550-i gaming ryzen 5 5600g 16 gb ram gtx 1060 3 gb (from my old pc) it worked like a dream for this two months, today I turned it on, started listening to some music and it turned off on it's own. now it's not turning back on. The PSU works because if I plug it in the led under the audio jacks turn on and if I connect something to the usb it's powered (I've turned this feature on because I use it for a desk lamp) but when I press the power button it does nothing, neither the debug leds turn on. Here a list of what I've tried without success: disconnect the PSU, wait 5 minute and reconnect removed the GPU remove the RAM unpluged and repluged every cable on the motherboard removed and reinstalled the cpu disconnected, waited 2 minute and reconnected the cmos battery What did I missed? Posted March 7, 2022 Double-check the leads on the Mobo for the Power Button. It's an odd one so just spit-balling - you say it's a 5600G, so maybe remove the GPU, connect your monitor to the On-board graphics port and see if it boots. I've tried shorting out the pin on the mobo with a screwdriver but nothing. all the testing I'm trying without the GPU, just seeing the cpu fan spin would mean a lot but unfortunately it still doesn't work
 Posted March 7, 2022 Can't fault your troubleshooting there. I take it the PSU and the Motherboard are both brand new?

The irritating thing is that it worked just fine, I genuinely don't know what I've possibly did to put it in a state like that
 Don't doubt yourself - parts do actually fail sometimes! By total coincidence, I just had a GPU returned to me this very day from a repair under warranty. In 30 years I had never had a major component fail like that, not even a HDD. It took me a while and every TS I could think of to finally accept it needed to go back. Having said that I don't mean to be negative and hopefully some wiser soul here can ghive you a solution. Either way you're covered.
 Posted April 8, 2022 @bodyes Did you ever get this issue resolved? I'm having the same issue where my board won't power on either.
