Hello there, was checking my task manager and found out that I was using 70% of my 16GB ram when I have a game, browser, and nothing more open.

Did the math and it didn't add up, tried checking resource monitor but being a noob in RAM, didn't find anything useful.

Closed mir4 and the launcher, ram usage dropped less than 20%.

Any clues what may be causing it, or how would someone go check it?

Can you close that browser and see how much the memory usage drops? (give it a couple of minutes after closing)
Chromium-based browsers do use a lot of memory, and Windows 10 can be deceptive as to what actually uses your memory, making Task Manager and Resource Monitor a bit useless for this purpose

This is completely normal.
Because of Windows 10's memory compression business, you can't tell (as far as I know, no tool can tell reliably) what exactly is using some of the memory. In your screenshot, 742 MB is used by this.
If you remove that, roughly 5 GB of memory is in use, with 1 GB of that going to a game, which is normal.

Ok, but if I sum everything in use, it doesn't even reach close to 4GB remaining removing the game. All apps open should consume at max 500-700mb.

I understand that windows won't show me everything, but something is consuming 4GB alone, and I doubt is the system on its own.

Did I understand something wrong here?
