So I could not find anyone else with this same problem so I figured I'd try my luck here. I'm going to be as specific as I can because I have seen similar problems.

So a couple months ago i bought a new pc with:

Ryzen 5 5600G (APU)

GIGABYTE AORUS B550 PRO AC

16GB 3200Mhz Cl 16 Vengeance RAM

Sharkoon WPM Gold ZERO 750W PSU

970 EVO 1TB SSD

Because of the gpu shortage and the need for a pc, I decided to buy an APU for the time being and was planning on getting a GPU later. The same day I built the system, I noticed not all the changable RGB zones were lighting up, only red/orange colors were showing. I said i didn't mind the RGB that much and since the APU outperformed my expectations anyway I decided to just roll with it.

Now a couple months later, I installed an old GPU a friend had(that he confirmed twice worked normally in his system), it was a GTX 1650 dual fan gddr5. But when I put it in my rig, something weird happend. The first boot everything went fine and was getting a great amount of FPS on Valorant which I know is CPU bound but still it was way better than just the APU. But when I restarted it after installing the drivers and testing the gpu the first boot, I tried to put in a second SSD into the system, which to my knowlage only had games on it. I installed it in an old rig of mine but also after 5 months of having it, so I don't think I have any drivers or operating system on there.

The Problem

Anyway, after booting it the second time and wanting to set up the SSD, my peripherals started to connect and disconnect all while making the now annoying windows sound. It went away very quickly but after launching Valorant a second time everything started to connect and disconnect again. I had no idea what was happening and tried to fix it first by going in the bios and setting the PCIE to Gen 3 Instead of Auto. Didn't work. I figured since the LEDs were already not woring properly, I'd send it back. Unfortunatly I could not get a refund but they did send it back to the manifacturer to get it repaired. After waiting 8 weeks(NOW), I finally got it back. They say they fixed a "BIOS ERROR" which I thought was possible since it was such a weird problem. However, after installing everything again, I got a boot screen, logged into windows, it could find my GPU, installed drivers and a game and I tested it again. Sadly it did'nt work again. So I got a friend to give me his old Radeon Rx r9 270x. This GPU does seem te work flawlessly and also gets good FPS. I then decided it must've been the GPU that was bad so I ordered a RTX 3060. Thinking this was going to work, I was excited for my upgrade. It got here today and when I installed it, it had the same exact problem.

Now I don't know whether it was a hardware problem or not. Since it only seems to happen with Nvidia GPU's, I asked my friend to borrow his rx 6600 to see if modern GPU's from team red do work. I will recieve it tomorrow and will look if team red works again. But even if it works, I still want to know what the problem is, because I want to know if it was something I did or if it was hardware related.

If anyone has any knowledge about this, please do share, because I'm out of idea's.

Thank you in advance.

PS:I hope this is a dumb problem and that it's an easy fix.

Using GPUs from AMD and Nvidia in the same system is not advisable because of driver conflicts. You should use a software like DDU in Safe Mode to completely wipe the old drivers before installing the new ones. Did you do this before installing drivers for the 1650?

Yes I did, also have reset my pc at least 3 times which also should delete all drivers.

Update:The rx 6600xt works so it must be Nvidia related

By "reset" do you mean "reinstall Windows" or just use the built-in Windows reset function? You may want to try a full wipe and reinstall to make sure that the AMD drivers for the APU aren't re-installed automatically by Windows.

Another thing to try would be to disable the iGPU to make sure that there's no conflict there.

The built-in Windows reset function. It worked once but after i booted it up later the same problem occured.
I wil keep the iGPU in mind, I'm just happy it works with the rx 6600 xt. I might test it later though.
