New Pc build

SabiAbain

Budget (including currency): 800-1000$ (USD)

Country: United States

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: I am planning on mainly using this for games like minecraft and web browsing. I might also do some light video editing.

Other details: I am currently using a lenovo family laptop and I would like to upgrade to having my own desktop pc. I already have mouse keyboard and a monitor, which will be fine for now (i might add a second monitor later and i would like my pc to be able to handle that). I would be fine if the Pc reaches over 50 fps in Minecraft (the current one's 30 fps max)

I have already gone on part picker and put together this pc but I would like to know if there is are any parts that I could replace or that are overkill so that I can bring the total cost down.

This checks a few boxes, as it will perform better in Minecraft, as well as potentially having an upgrade path as Intel supposedly is going to continue using LGA 1700 for at least a little while

Thank you for that info 🙂. I changed the SSD from 1tb to 500gb because I don't think I need more than that rn,and i changed the case, but I was wondering if there was maybe a graphics card that would still work fine but maybe costs 50-100$ less? Also is there a CPU cooler included with the CPU? (thank you again)

SSD: whatever you think you'll need is good, makes it even easier

as for the GPU, come to think of it, Minecraft probably won't care unless you try to run shaders or high res texture packs like 64x or above

Ok, so I selected a GTX 1650 (just not the MSI one) and added a CPU cooler. Would this be a balanced system to use for games, web browsing, and editing? Also I would like to play around with shaders, high res texture packs and maybe mods so I would like to keep a graphics card.
