Howdy people.

I have had the issue you already read in the topic name but i just recently made the link between them and verified that my electric shutters cause this issue.

its when the motor starts and stops when the screen of my pc blanks for a second due to an apparent loss of signal.

electrically the shutters and the pc/monitor are all on the same 240v feed from the fusebox so there might be some kind of backfeeding the monitor (AD27QD) does not like or some kind of RF kind of crap coming from the motors messing with the 3 meter (16.854 bananas) DP cable. but that cable is a fairly nice one despite that not saying much these days. pc power supply is a seasonic titanium and properly grounded.

what i am mostly interested is the actual cause of the problem. could it be interference picked up on the DP cable, power supply in the monitor that takes a dump every time it gets crap from the motors from the shutter or something else?
