Hi,

I tried to turn on my computer the other day I’ve not been using it much recently as I have been very busy with work and studies. But I’ve been wanting to get back into playing some games I had a look at building a new system but the current pricing is preventing that so I wanted to try use this one until next year when hopefully things might improve a bit. But when I turn the system on fans spin lights show on both the ram and the gpu but nothing is displayed on the screen my first thought was oh no it’s the GPU but after putting a different card I had in it still does the same. I’m now thinking motherboard, it’s a ddr3 system so doesn’t have a fancy code reader and I was silly when I built it years ago and didn’t bother with the speaker so diagnosis of the issue is proving to be complicated. I’m now trying to figure out if this is CPU or motherboard. I don’t think it’s ram as I’ve tried both sticks separate and I’d be very surprised if both have died. Screen is a brand new X34 GS and I use it for work so it’s not the screen bought the screen recently hoping I could get a new system that hasn’t worked out how I had hoped it would.

Any ideas would be great thanks

Systemspecs includes make and model of the PSU?

It’s an older system but I only play older games at the moment so it’s an FX8320-E, 16gb ddr3 Adata memory at 1333mhz, GTX770 2gb and a 240gb Kingston SSD with a 1TB WD blue 3.5” drive for extra storage. All powered by a Corsair CX650watt psu motherboard is an MSI 990fx board
