Looking for note taking device with Digitizer

I am looking for a new laptop or maybe tablet to get before fall semester. I have looked into the Note 12.2 and it seems like a good option but at that price I would almost rather get a ultrabook, the problem is I need something with an active digitizer and can be used in portrait to take notes. I found the sony flip 14 inch and it seem like a decent option because I can get it for less than $1000 with student discount but it doesn't have as good of battery life and I can't find if can be used in portrait. I also looked at the lenovo thinkpad yoga but even with the student price it is $1300 and I would like to stay under $1000 So I was wondering if anyone knows of any good convertible ultabooks with active digitizers I should look into. I won't be buying anything until around June so future products are good too.

I can't think of any with active digitizers at that low of a price. HP use to sell laptops that had a digitizer but that was a while back.

 

Wacom currently has a android and a windows hybrid with a digitizer(obviously since their wacom).
