YouTube fixed subscription feed?

Yesterday I started seeing my subscription feed fill up with a lot of channels I had not seen in a while. As far as I can tell YouTube has finally fixed it and all the videos posted by the channels I follow are showing up. Has anyone else seen this change? I have not seen mention of it anywhere yet, but that would be a big change to the algorithm.

I watch and unhealthy amount of youtube but my method of watching things is by mobile notifications during the day and I use those to add them to my watch later list. I don't really ever manually go to the subscription page so I'm not really sure. I've never seen a channel i'm subscribed to (hundreds) not give me new video's with the bell checked.
