Bluetooth dongle Yes/No?

Does anyone know if there are disadvantages to using a bluetooth dongle vs bluetooth built into the mobo? 

In particular, I'm thinking of getting the MSI B550 Tomahawk but it doesn't have wifi/bt built in.  I couldn't care less about the wifi, but I may want to use a bt mouse.  Would there be higher latency?

Get a good quality dongle and there won't be any noticeable differences from a built-in one.
