Computer posts but isn't displaying anything

I just finished my first build last night and the computer posted, but isn't displaying anything.

I read on a reddit forum that I may need to possibly 'flash' my motherboard, but I'm really not sure how to go about doing that.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

B550 should be compatible with your ryzen 5600x from the beginning without any bios flashing. 

 

how and where  did you connect your pc with your monitor? 

 

you got 2 monitors?

 

check if you have plugged in everything. normally your Graphiccard has 1 or 2 separate power cables you have to plug in

Yeah that's what I originally thought too, but I guess not.

I removed everything, flashed the bios and rebuilt the computer from scratch and that solved the issue.

For anyone else having this issue - just flash your bios using a USB stick.

Really excited to use my first build now
