B550-E Q-Code 9E after cold boot.

Bit of an odd one, my Plex Server was offline this morning (was fine last night), so turned on the TV it's attached to.

No output to the TV at all, figured it was the usual HDMI Handshake problem so gave the system a cold boot which usually sorts it. Now I get the Q-Code 9E. Manual says this is reserved for later use (which doesn't help me at all.)
Has anyone else come across this problem or code?

The only this that might possibly have changed are Windows Updates.

Post codes are not always an error code. In fact most of the time it's just showing where it's at in the post sequence and what the system is hung on.

You want to install the little diagnostic speaker to the FP header for error beeps. Count them out and go to my sig below. In the link look for AMI beep codes. These are direct indicators of errors unlike the Q code reader.

Thanks! As it turns out, it seems to be an HDMI/HDCP issue. I get absolutely no video during POST (which means I can't enter the BIOS!)
Screen eventually springs to life during Windows Boot.

I've done all the usual BIOS/Driver updates.

I have a Display Port to HDMI cable arriving imminently, will see if that manages to sort things.
