Help building new pc?

Budget (including currency): around 2k

Country: USA

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Creative work, so photo editing, video editing, and gaming, vr, Music Production(Mostly use ableton)- I think ableton is CPU heavy..?

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): 

Here is pc parts. I allocated about 700 dollars for graphics card? Im gonna try to find a rtx 30 series on msrp... idk if I can

Any suggestions?

3060ti for 700? If you are waiting anyway might as well get a 3080 for msrp

Ryzen CPUs like RAM in dual channel mode, so I would suggest spending a bit more on that.

Thanks man. It is the first pc that im building so I wasnt sure about the compatibility issue and what not

I am just gonna buy what ever i can get my hands on!

Just put 3060ti as a place holder for now... im just gonna do my best to buy anywhere from 3060 to 3080 msrp?

The board apparently has two m.2 slots, so for your second drive I would get a faster Sn550 rather than the SATA SSD
(put the slower ssd in the lower slot as the lower slot is a little bit slower)

Otherwise, build looks good

okay I will definitely do that!
