Why is my CPU doing this?

Anytime I attempt to play BL3 or Warzone, My computer starts lagging and chugging around. I currently have an I7 9700k the comfortably runs at around 4.5GHz. Whenever I load up BL3 or Warzone, it drops to 0.79GHz and stays there. My temps aren't going off the wall. It stays between 110f and 130f. It doesn't do it with any other game, especially with the more demanding games. Idk what to do about this. Please help me!

Harddrive or ssd? What gpu are you running?

Both games  are on my SSD and I'm running an MSI 2070 Super

Have you tried any other games and is that still happening?

No it is only doing it on these two games so far. Tarkov works just fine, Sea of theives, Forza Horizon, all  my other games run perfect. That's why I don't understand it

try lowering the settings, cuz 9700k doesnt have hyperthreadin'. get a z490 and a 10700k maybe

Now i noticed it is starting to do it on PUBG too. I know its  not temps, bc my CPU didn't go above 109 Fahrenheit.
