So I am on my third build and I have finally run into an issue that I have never come across. When I was nearly completely with the build, OS was installed and all of the fun stuff was done, I thought I had dodged a bullet......

The motherboard had a white VGA LED on. This little annoyance came on when the computer attempted to POST. The computer came up with no display but everything else on the computer functioned well. I did a little research and Google said to try and reseat the RAM, the GPU, and then the cables connecting everything. I did these steps and each time taking precautions with mini zappies (static.) All of this was fruitless. That little white light just wouldn't go away. As I figured it would stick around for life, I decided to press on with my quest to solve the issue.

Again, the White light on my motherboard will not turn off when the monitor(s) are plugged into the GPU. THEYhey work fine with the onboard graphics. I did notice that when I was setting up my Windows OS, that there are settings within BIOS to change the system to recognize the GPU? I would love to know more, but first, I have got to figure out this light. I know something like this was asked before but the situations were slightly different and didn't quite fit my dilemma. My build is as follows:

ASUS Z390-A Motherboard

Red Devil 5700 XT

i9 9900k

2 x 16GB Corsair Vengeance Pro

Thanks for the tips and advice in advance!!
