I have a few PSU options, all at the same price, but I really don't know what's the best choice here. Maybe some knowledgeable people can help me.

  • Seasonic Focus GX 650W
  • RM650x
  • RM750
  • Chieftec PowerPlay 650W
  • XPG Core Reactor 650W

I only use my PC for gaming and rendering. No overclocking.

Going by build quality: RMx, PowerPlay, RM, GX, Core Reactor (same as GX).

I personally like the Corsair customer service, so I recommend either the RMx or RM (RM only if you need that extra 100w). Never had Seasonic, but they are also a good choice from what I hear.

I don't really need 750W for my build (I have a 3060ti and 5600x), but what's the difference between RM and RMx?

Basically a cost-reduced RMx with lower-quality caps. It's still a good PSU, but not as good as the RMx

So I guess the fight is between the RM650x and the RM750. The thing is, do I really need the RM650x? For what kind of users is it made? But I don't need 750W either, because I don't think I'll ever go 2K low Hz. I prefer 1080p 240hz. But I don't think I need the performance of the RMx for the kind of stuff I do. So maybe the 750W will come in handy one day.

To be honest I don't even know what to pick between these 2. I'll probably end up flipping a coin.
