Help, DIY power switch not working!

Im trying to make a power switch out of an NES power switch but it keeps doing this, :/. I made it with stripping down one of these https://www.amazon.ca/Electop-Power-Button-Computer-Switch/dp/B01LMZZFWO/ref=sr_1_7?dchild=1&keywords=pc+'powerswitch&qid=1615256033&sr=8-7 And connecting it to the board of the pwr switch. Please halp if you can
