So I'm thinking about buying a broken tablet and he says it won't boot but will still turn on. He has tried external bootable hdds, could it still be the internal ssd or is it something else? Like the motherboard

Why would you want to buy a broken tablet? Just save up a bit more and buy a working/new one.

Not enough information to give a answer. Plus don't buy a broken tablet. Just don't. If you must buy a tablet which I don't really recommend in the first place buy one that actually works...

Gaming rig- Cpu- Amd 9590, 16gbs of G Skill Ram, Gpu- GTX 760 windforce 3 edition 2gb. A Thermaltake water 2.0 water cooler for my cpu. Keyboard- Thermaltake Posieden , Case- 750D, Mobo Asus 990fx R2.0. 24 inch Dell LED monitor

as a tech junkie i like to buy "cheap broken stuff" just to mess with it and see if i can get it to work.. i got my laptop for 25€ (replaced the screen and viola) 500 bucks saved, also i have a bucket of mp3 players, and other tech

it's probably motherboard or something wrong with the firmware.

Not worth it on a tablet. On a laptop sure try and fix it but not a tablet. You would do better buy just making a video of you burning money and posting it on youtube

For me I would rather just save the $10 and get me that much closer to buying somthing else, such as a broken laptop/desktop in his case
