Before i explain i know there is probably so many people asking about this but i really dont seem to find the same issue, Thanks for understanding

[GTA V bought on steam with a white shark card on 27 may 2017]

 

So my problem is that GTA V (that i bought in steam + a white shark card) has an issue because it says that my activation code is already in use. How can that be? i didnt buy it used or anything ive tried to contact rockstar support 2 times now the first time was 18. oct and the second time was just recently, i think the issue maybe is because i bought the game for my old pc but i turned out i couldnt really run it because of specs so i just uninstalled it and thought to myself lets just until i get a better pc and so now when i have a pc that can run it there comes up this dumb message that im really frustrated about i hope you guys can help. And i REALLY dont want to buy it again so i want to try everything else

edit: (ive found out that my younger self applied for refund but didnt get a reply and my friends cant see gta v in my library but they can see how long i have played the game and when i last played it hope it helps)

So you've already activated it on another PC. Was this on the same Steam account or a different one?

 

You'd be better off contacting Steam support than Rockstar support for this.

Yes it was the same exact account

If it was the same account, you should have GTA V in your steam library, no need to re-activate the code.

If you activated it and didn't get a refund, it should be in you library. If it's not, contact Steam support or re-buy GTA V

ill try thank you. BUT if i would buy it wouldnt the activation code be the same

No, the activation code is different for each purchase of the game, otherwise only one person on Steam would be able to own the game.
