No memory detected.... HELP!

This is my first time building a pc. After finally finishing I tried to turn it on and it gave me 3 beeps which the manual said that means that I'm missing memory but I can clearly see the memory? My motherboard is intel dx58so and the memory is 2×4gb corsair vengeance ddr3 1600(8gb)...i have no idea what's going on.... Please help :)
