im currently behind on the bios updates for my aorus b450m motherboard.

im currently running a ryzen 7 2700x and just got the ryzen 5 5600x.

i went onto gigabytes sites for my motherboard and they dont have anything before F52

would i need the previous bios updates or can i go straight to F52 then F60e so i can install my r5 5600x

thank you!

There's only 2 bios's available.

1. be sure the chipset drivers are up to date first before the flash.

2. Flash straight to the F60e unless the site says otherwise. (which it doesn't)

^ This. Just go straight for F60e, that's what I am on. And just use a USB drive from inside the BIOS with Q-Flash. Attached to this reply is the F60e BIOS File.

Yes

Here is the site page for drivers B450 AORUS M (rev. 1.x) Support | Motherboard - GIGABYTE U.S.A. latest chipset drivers is version, 2‎.09.28.509

It's honestly not a bad board, just wish it was more straight forward with the BIOS lol.

Yes! It will give you a option to search your flash drive for the file you download, that I provided, the F60e BIOS, which will give you support for Ryzen 5000 CPU's. My board came stock with F51, and out the box I could use 3000 series. Once you select the file off the flash drive it will prompt you to flash the BIOS. Make sure not to unplug your PC, or interrupt the process, tell your dogs, cats, kids and fish to not go near the PC till it's done. After that you will be good to go! The BIOS utility in the AORUS M app center will show you current BIOS version also if you want to view it from Windows.
