Strange shadow/screen flickering?

Hi everyone,

 

There seems to be an odd color change and/or a big shadow apparently aligned with the small windows (or the shadows of that window) I am interacting with, and it happens when I hover over certain stuff. It also happens when I receive a notification or move that small window (still, aligned with the notification or the window). The screen changes in color to a subtle yellowish color for that area. Could it be hardware related or is it something related to the visual effects of Windows? Any help is appreciated! :)
