I am currently having an issue with installing Windows 10 on my M.2 Nvme Samsung 970 Evo Plus. The M.2 is new and clean. I had installed Windows Media Creation Tool on my Sandisk 128gb USB Flash drive. I do have three other hard drives: a 1TB C drive which includes Windows 10 Education already installed on it, a 2TB D drive, and a 8TB F drive, which are all HDDs. I wanted to install Windows 10 to the new M.2 for the faster boot time. I had unplugged all of the HDDs leaving the M.2. I plugged in the USB and followed the setup with entering my key and choosing Custom. I then had deleted all of my partitions and had to convert my M.2 from GBT to MBR due to an error. I then installed the Windows 10 files on the unallocated M.2. I then had unplugged my USB and it boots up to the BIOS screen and if I exit BIOS, it just goes back to it in a few seconds not going any further. I did some research but couldn't find any helpful advice. I am also unsure if I have to uninstall Windows 10 on the C drive first before installing it on my M.2.

My Specs:

- Motherboard: Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Pro Wifi ATX LGA1151

-Graphics Card: Nvidia Geforce GTX 1050Ti

-CPU: Intel I9-9900k 3.6 GHz 8-Core

-RAM: PNY Anarchy 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2400 CL15

-PSU: EVGA 600W 80+ Certified ATX

-OS: Windows 10 Education

-HDD: 1TB C Drive (Has Windows 10 Education installed), 2TB D drive, 8TB F Drive

-M.2 Nvme: Samsung 970 Evo Plus

I have my M.2 installed in the M2A slot which makes all the SATA ports still usable according to my motherboard manual.

Well that's weird but something similar in certain aspects happened to me. I was having issues with some kernel files getting randomly corrupted so i tried to put my HDD out of my system but then it didn't booted. I'm not sure of what could cause this but that's weird. About your existing win10 on your HDD i don't think that it's the issue. Maybe try reinstalling your win10 with all of your HDDs connected. Also try plugging your m.2 on the other port. That could atleast give you some indications on what could NOT be the issue.

Are you able to manually select your m.2 drive to boot from in bios? What result does that have?

I don't recall an option to boot. I read somewhere about disabling CSM which didn't work for me as well as to turn on Secure Boot. After enabling Secure Boot, it seems my monitor is displaying "No Signal" but my pc still seems to be working fine. I had checked the cables but that seems to be fine and even resetted CMOS but that didn't work as well. Pretty sure Secure Boot is now the cause of that but thought that would fix the issue.
