Okay so my dads work is retiring two things a laptop with a 960m or a desktop with and i3 4160 which is garbage. i want to get into gaming but the cpu in the desktop will botlle neck the 1650 low profile i want like 30% so do i use a 960m or use a bottlenecked 1650 that i can put in a new desktop later or should i replace the cpu with a server xeon and a server board and install wifi for 60 bucks more so the 1650 does not get bottlenecked

Do some research but I think xeon e3-1230 is a i7 4770 for under $100. If your laptop has a fast cpu clock (over 4160 while hot) use it.

i5 2500 i belive would have to check also the exact xeon i was thinking of anyway thanks
