Driver issues with r9 280

Hi, my friend is having a bit of a problem with his r9 280, he recently update his drivers (from don't remember how old, he never  updated it since I first settled up his pc, early 2017, to the latest ones :4/12/2020)

and now he doesn't have any audio, at least from the graphics card, he does get audio when he plugs in the motherboard.

he checked the drivers, and saw this:

he also tried to downgrade to the 11/30/2020 update, same problem.

 

any ideas how to solve the problem? I tried to look online for just the audio drivers and couldent find anything.
