Task Manager shows GPU usage at 0%

I was playing a game earlier and thought the graphics were atrocious, the water in the game was very pixelated and I'm sure this wasn't supposed to happen, so I checked task manager and saw that all my processes were using 0% of my GPU. Everything else was fine my CPU was at 25% and my memory was at 66%, does anyone know why this is happening?
