Rooting a Digiland tablet

I have an old digiland dl701q that just sits around unused. It’s running Android 4 and it is somewhat useless. I though it might be better if I got it on lineage or something like that. Are there any guides. I don’t know much about this and when I looked at lineage wiki I didn’t see digiland on the list. Thanks for your help!
