I have been wrestling an issue for 2 months and am running out of options. The issue started when my machine would seize up during normal use. Usually I would just have a few chrome tabs open. The programs would freeze but the OS and cursor would still work. After another minute the OS would freeze then after another minute the mouse. That issue eventually got worse to where all of my games would crash after a game or two. I tried updating drivers, BIOS, and Windows 10. I ran SFC, Check disk, and DISM. I finally ran a hardware diagnostics that showed memory failure. I have two 8 GB sticks. I tested the sticks individually and in different slots, 4 total slots on the motherboard. It failed every time. After about a week or so Corsair agreed to RMA my RAM. I finally get my replacement RAM and run into the exact same issue. I then theorize that maybe the memory slots on the motherboard are defective. I contact Gigabyte to setup an RMA. They have my motherboard for close to a month. I got it back last night, reassemble my system and still cannot get Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War or Modern Warfare to even get to the title screen. Overwatch and CS:GO will let me get into matches but will crash before I can complete even a full match. During this testing I got three blue screens with three different stop codes. "critical process died", "page fault in nonpaged area", and "System service exception". I finally wiped both of my drives and started with a completely fresh install of Windows 10. I downloaded my chipset driver, GPU driver, battle.net, then CoD Cold War. I am still getting the same issue I was getting before the clean install. I have no idea what else to try.
