Questions about Dashlane.

So I have been using Dashlane for about two years but today I saw a message in the desktop program about some changes coming to Dashlane which lead me to this https://www.dashlane.com/introducing-web-first

 

They seem to moving focus to the web version and eventually discontinuing the desktop program. It doesn't say how long I'll be able to keep using the desktop program.

 

Anyone got some good alternatives to Dashlane with a desktop program. I've had other issues with Dashlane but this might be what pushes me to switch as I really like having a desktop program.

 

I've heard good things about 1 Password how is it? I am open to other ones though as long as they have a desktop program.
