I received a notice for an update from Samsung to update the software on the two drives in my system.  Just for the fun of it, I decided to run the performance benchmarks on both drives.  As you can see in the attached screenshots, the 500 gigabyte drive is outperforming the 250 gigabyte drive by FIVE TIMES!  These are the same model of drive with one being twice the capacity.  How on earth is the 500gb one outperforming the 250gb one by such a HUGE margin?  I am totally confused.  UserBenchmark.com's website lists the speed of the 500gb drive's avg. sequential score as 405MB/s.  If I were to post these scores there, it would not only blow everyone's doors off, but be #1 in the world.

Anyone have any thoughts on why this drive is so blazingly fast?
