Custom made BattleMech case?

Has anyone made their own custom computer case that looks like a BattleMech, Armored Core game series or other mecha? What was the experience like and what are some recommendations for building or resources? This could be anything from Legos around a Raspberry Pi or an existing case, or custom made metal and plastic case. I would assume water cooling might be preferred to help with managing airflow and helping make the case look good. Please post a picture if you have any of the case.
