google calendar rescheduling

Ok this is a little bit of a pain for me. i'm on my first official day coming off my iphone 5 and into my nexus 5. 

 

one of the major problems is the calendar on android isn't as user friendly when rescheduling events.  On ios, if i have to reschedule, i just hold the event to highlight, and drag to a new time, i can also drag the ends to expand the meeting.

 

I can't seem to figure it out on the google calendar (or even business cal for that matter). Every time I hold anything down, it just wants to create a new event.

 

 

Is there something im missing because i'm still new to android, and if you really can't do that, is there an app that does let you do this. I plan out my courses and work shedule on my calendar, so rescheduling is kind of a need.
