Posted September 19, 2020 Just pre-ordered the Oculus quest v2. This will be my first VR setup. I know it's a standalone VR but I want to hook it up through Oculus link. I've had this computer for years got it when Sandy bridge first came out. Still game on it today. Will my i-5 still work for VR just upgrade my GPU. I'm running i-5 Nvidia GTX 780 8 GB ram. Posted September 19, 2020 Might as well try it and see. If performance is bad, then sure an upgrade would be in order Community Standards || Tech News Posting Guidelines ---======================================================================--- CPU: R5 3600 || GPU: RTX 3070|| Memory: 32GB @ 3200 || Cooler: Scythe Big Shuriken || PSU: 650W EVGA GM || Case: NR200P
 I know with the hardware I'm working with there are limitations. Make sure you don't get one that will bottleneck your system. Just somethign simple like a 1650 Super or a 1660. You could also do an RX 580.
