Case Fans speed control

Hi,

I am building in a case that come with 4 ARGB 3 pins fans (THIS ONE) already connected to a fan controller/hub. The hub is connected to the case LED button so you can change the colors, and have a SATA port for power, meaning you can't control the fans' speed.

 

Is there anyway (an adapter or something) that will allow me to connect this controller/hub to my motherboard to be able to control the speed/rgb form there?

Unless the fans are PWM?  No.  You can't connect them to anything in the case to control the speed.

 

Edit:  They're 3 pin fans, Power, Ground, and RPM leads.  They're not PWM, and can't be controlled via software.

 

There's one option, but it may also hose the LED Lighting.

You could use a short SATA Power Connection extension and wire it to a Rheostat or other device to control the voltage.  But changing the voltage will also change the Volts to the LEDs, which may muck with the lighting.

Thank you for the reply. So even with the hub, there is no way to take control of the speed. I have 5 pwms 14 cm Arctic fans that I am not using, if I can't stand then noise, Maybe I will use them instead of the case native fans. Still haven't finished building due to...a long story (got a FAKE cpu from Amazon and waiting for the new stuff...unbelievable!!).
