Minecraft broken with shaders

Hello,

I recently downloaded shaders for minecraft and my frames are dropping to as low as 5 FPS. Without shaders I can run minecraft at about 200-600 FPS so does anybody have any ideas as to why shaders are causing such bad drops in frames? I have tried multiple different shader packs with the same issues. My PC has a intel i7 9700k and 2070 super with 16gb of DDR4 3600mhz ram.
