Hey man, I just came across your thread with the same exact same question. I also have an Evolv X, though my AIO is a newer model h150i Pro XT. Once I assemble everything I'll edit this post and let you know the most optimal config for a system with similar specs, in case you/anyone else out there is wondering about it.

It won't make a much of a difference.  You have the same amount of energy being transferred either way.
