Another FPS issues with minecraft windows 10 post

Hey so i've read through some other posts but nothings helped, trying to playing minecraft windows 10 version and im only get between 90-120 fps. Ive got a i7 6700k and a 2080 super, if i switch to the rtx beta i still get around 90 fps but trying to play normal I can't even hit 144 hz? tryed turning low latency mode off  and Thread optimisation but yeah nothing
