i uninstalled, restarted my pc, turned my internet off and then used a DDU (which i didn't use before) and then installed the latest nvidia driver. And now it all works properly. i even got more drivers installed then i had before. i got the usbc3 driver now and newer versions of the other drivers. i think the problem was that i didn't use the DDU when reinstalling the drivers before and it had some conflicts in drivers.

Happy to hear this helped. I completely forgot to mention DDU (it slipped my mind 😅)

Hey i built my first pc in February and everything went fine except installing some drivers. I had to install some drivers in safe mode after installation failing in normal windows mode.
It worked in safe mode so everything looked allright from there.

But now recently i downloaded valorant and at the start screen i had this weird artifacts around everything. and then i went into other programs and realised they were there too. I think they were their earlier but it didn't disturb me before.

when something changes in the UI or i click somewhere it goes away for somewhile.
anyone knows what can cause this? bad driver instals? and how would i fix this?

Keep in mind it's my first pc build and i won't understand the "delete ur drivers and reinstall".(as i suspect that that is what i'll have to do)

Thanks in advance

It can’t be more straight forward than updating your drivers ?

Are you using a iGPU or a dGPU?

2070 super and my drivers are up to date as far as i know

What were the drivers you had to install safe mode?

you can try to remove current driver for GPU and reinstall it. As it does seem something to do with the graphics looking at the photos you supplied.
Many tutorials/guides on Google’s you can follow to make it an easy thing ☺️

the nvidia graphic driver 442.59 and when i try to install geforce experience it always fails.

i tried uninstalling the driver and then installing that driver again and the issue of not being able to install the driver in normal windows boot mode was still there

I just noticed that in the 2 months that i have this pc a newer version of the driver came out. I'll try and uninstall it and install the new driver and let you know what happens

what are those 2 though? do i also need to reinstall those?

So you don’t need to install GeForce experience. The rest I always install

Not that I know of. I just don’t install this whole geforce experience thing. You can manually download update drivers, set the graphics setting to your liking etc
