So yesterday, my brother's gaming PC wouldn't post. Stops on error code 00 DETECT MEMORY. I tried reseating all DIMMs and even bought a new kit just to try. Still nothing. People at ASUS haven't given a reply yet. The CPU is an AMD Ryzen Threadripper 1950X (not overclocked). Just thought I would maybe get a solution on the LTT Forum.

Try carefully re-seating the CPU. Sometimes you get memory errors purely from back contact.

If that fails, try using BIOS Flashback to update to the latest BIOS if it's never been updated.

This will improve memory compatibility but also clear the CMOS in case it's a setting issue.
