Little worried

Go to solution Solved by Benx,

This is normal, amd cpu's unlike intel do not give you a core by core temperature. I am not sure if it is just an average or a single sensor, but again yes this is normal.

Hi All,

I got something worrying me about my new build that I just recently build.

1st something about HWMonitor as it shows only single core in temperature tab.

Is that normal for AMD Rayzen 7 3700X?

Temp.jpg.5da10c1a720419e0f1494d5dc2a85c40.jpg

Second part as you can see the temperature is idling around 50 degrees without running any heavy applications?

I thought that was related to the stock CPU cooling and I've changed that to Cooler Master MasterAir MA410M 53.38 CFM CPU Cooler

but it never dropped. Is that something normal for this type of CPUs?

The BIOS for the MB is up to date (B450 MSI Carbon) and the only thing that I can see is that for CPU power is 12 pins is there but I powered it with only 8.

Please help
