Second keyboard for macros?

I have an extra keyboard in the cupboard and no macro keys, so is it possible to set up the second keyboard so that pressing a for example will open a program or something?

i found this but it seems like hard work coding all my keys so is there any software someone else has made which makes this easier or something?

Download HIDmacros from the link and you will be able assign keys to secondary keyboard to launch a Program or open a folder etc...(Without any scripting).

If you're scared of a virus or malware, download a vm and test it out. I would attempt to find more info on it though.

Its available in the same website as luamacros , since it not highlighted we dont usually try it and i have scanned the file using kaspersky as well as bit defender antivirus. i use three keyboards using this application but it if you want use to its full potential i would suggest using AHK Script (for automating repetitive Tasks).

 

 

Cons:

1.Its is unable to differentiate between Lshift , Lalt, LCtrl & Rshift, Ralt, RCtrl (for exampe if assign a function for Lshit it will work for Rshift as well)

2. Prt Screen Key doesnt work.
