Intel Core i5 processors don't support hyperthreading unfortunately.
Only Core i3 & i7 processors support hyperthreading.

It doesn't affect gaming performance, so you shouldn't worry about it ^__^ .

If you want more performance out of your i5 2500 you can overclock it.
Even though the multiplier is locked on non-K processors you can still raise the Base & Turbo clock by 400mhz, which should improve performance quite a bit !
