Using a cheap GPU as an output

Hello,

Got myself a GTX 1660 ti, but waiting on a cable to use dvi on my third monitor, for now I want to plug in my gt 520 just for the vga output, however when i do this, the nvidia control panel puts the main card as the 520, and i cant change it to the 1660 ti, what can I do to fix this?
