hey guys

im currently having issues with my aorus b450 elite motherboard where when i run my ram (corsair Vengance pro RGB) at XMP settings (3200 MHz) i get over 4000 errors on memtest86

Ive managed to keep it from getting errors by adding 2 3000MHz sticks and running at xmp therfore dropping the speed.

does anyone know what could be causing this ? i have tried RMAing the ram and got the same issue.

You likely need to up your SOC voltage. On first gen and some 2nd gen, the SOC voltage is to low and causes the errors. You are safe to up your SOC voltage to 1.2v. Try like 1.1v first and up from there.

a little as the 3rd gen are usually in a much better place for its IMC, but still worth a try and see if it helps.

The voltage sets to 1.35 when I run on xmp automatically

thats DRAM voltage, not SOC.
