Camera Error displays on screen

Ello, 

 

I got a Sony a390 a couple of months and everything was working well till very recently. It took pictures normally but whenever I use the flash on any mode other than no flash mode, the camera displays the message "Camera Error" on screen and I don't know what is going on. If anyone knows could you share what it could be and if there's a solution because it's getting kinda of annoying.

First port of call would be to make sure firmware is up to date. Then reset the camera. If there is no joy I think you may need a trip to the repair shop! There is nothing off the top of my head that would cause such a problem other than a faulty flash.
