I bought Need For Speed Rivals (Walmart only Edition) to play on my Xbox 360. It had a small sticker on the box saying Hard Drive required. So, when I got home, I put it in my XBox. I started up the game and it told me it needed 2.0 Gigs storage. I deleted some content from old games I don't play. It then told me that mt XBox doesn't have a hard drive. I was dumbfounded. No hard drive? I put the plastic back on the case in expert wrapping and returned it, exchanging it for PS3, which, isn't my preferred console, but it is still a great game. Could you please explain or try to explain how I know the difference whether I have a hard drive or not? I obviously know now, but I'd like to know for future reference.

You see, I've had this Xbox for quite a while. I don't remember what the box said.

You never noticed it was

Omitted on space or even did research before you got it 0_o and why didn't you save up a bit more and get a ps4xbone

Nope I didn't. I also didn't want a next generation. I didn't really care too much. I hardly use the consoles I have

I think that the 4gig Xbox comes with an internal flash memory of 4 gigs, but not an actual hard drive, so your game must be looking for a hard drive in any of the 2 expansion slots of the xbox, (i saw on a video where there was the option to upgrade the HDD in 2 ways, 1 compartment at the bottom, and another option to stick a "custom" caged HDD into a slim Xbox.

around the 5 min mark it says where it is

at 6:10 it says that the xbox slim 4gig doesnt come with a HDD, and that it comes with and internal ssd of 4 gigs

The HDD adapters for the slim can be had for very little money. I think I got mine from dealextreme for about $5 with free shipping. With my older 360 that I was going to put in my arcade cab, I simply soldered a SATA cable to the motherboard.

I don't really play many games for gameplay anymore honestly. I play most games just for the graphics.
