User installed Font disappearing

I just got this new laptop from Lenovo and began installing my stuff. I wanted to get this nice font for WSL in Windows Terminal - so I downloaded it, installed it and set it up. Everything worked fine, but then I rebooted. The font is no longer visible to the Windows Terminal app and doesn't even show up in this "new" Windows Settings -> Fonts app (I mean the thing that is not Control Panel). I can install it again and it will work until the next reboot. The weird thing is that some apps see it just fine and in safe mode it works as well. Is there anyone with similar issue? I would really like to find out, what is going on here.
