Does anyone have an iHome device or something like it?

Anyways, I have this as my alarm clock to wake me up in the morning but when I dock my iPod classic I notice on certain albums/songs it will start to play a song and then start beeping like an annoying old alarm clock used to. I have it set to wake up to iPod, not radio or alarm. Does anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it? I just want to wake up to music, not a beep.
