Hey all,

So I am fairly new to the entire scene of touching any settings even though I've had this computer for 3 or so years. Only today, I found out I had to enable an XMP profile for my RAM to run at the correct speeds... derp. Anyway, I've also enabled a feature that came with the motherboard that automatically overclocks the CPU and this is the cause of my question(s); I ran a PassMark and got a cheeky 6004 overall, with CPU being 12,154. It states my Turbo speed reached 4.41Ghz, so I assume the feature was overclocking the max-turbo speed and not the default/normal load speed.

So my first question is; would I get greater results with manually overclocking the CPU? temperature-wise I have an H110i which idles at around 42.3c so I assume that gives me some head-way after a little digging. And for the second question; I was thinking of upgrading to something more modern but after looking at the result; would it be worth it? or could I push this system a little further.

my PassMark id is... baselines/V9/display.php?id=125467646859
