Hello. First i have to say that i am german and my english is not to best. So sorry if my spelling is sometimes crazy.

My actuall setup is build 2012 (i guess) and i want to build a fully new one with actuall hardware. I havent bought anything at this time and all the following parts are planned.

1. Budget & Location

My Budget is maxed at 3.000€ but i am aiming for like 2.000€ - 2.500€

- Case be quiet! Dark Base 900 - 159,85€

- CPU AMD Ryzen 3950x (release in August)

- CPU cooler be quiet! Rock pro 4 - 69,49€

- 500GB Samsung 970 Evo Plus M.2 - 106,90€

- 750 Watt be quiet! - 113,64€

- RAM 32GB G.Skill Ripjaws DDR4 3200 - 173,90€

- Mainboard MSI MPG X570 GAMING PLUS - 179,90€

- GPU RX 5700XT costum maybe from MSI (release in August)

I dont really need a harddrive so its not listed here. I dont know the exact price of the CPU/GPU which are coming soon but im looking forward to get this 2 things.

Now some peripherals:

- Monitor AOC Gaming CQ32G1 144hz 2560x1440 31,5" (Are 31,5" too big? 24" its too small for me but i played on a 60hz 27" monitor)

- Beyerdynamic DT 990 Pro - 122€

- SoundblasterX G6 Soundcard 147€

- Auna MIC 900 - 79,99€

- Mic Arm 19€

My last Headset is broken and i want to upgrade to a new audioquality in gaming because im playing by sound. So i did some research and wanted to try out this Setup. This will be my first time and dont have the experience in this so will this work together?

2. Aim

I only want to use this Setup for gaming and maybe in the future for streaming, but this is optional. Im playing games like Squad, Arma 3, Rainbow Six Siege, Battlefield 5 ect. and i want to get the best performance as possible.

3. Monitors

Just the one listed above and maybe with my old one just because i still have this one. Its an old Acer 27" 60hz

So is this setup alright? To much? To less? Are there any things which are not compatible together? Its my second self-build system (last one 2012) and im not that experienced in this so feel free the tell me if there is somehting wrong going on.

So this should it be. I wrote this text fast because i have to go to work but i will reply an answers soon as i can.

Ty for help :)

Thanks i didnt even knew about this Site ❤️

so you guys think i should stay at a 3700x but upgrade to a 2080 instead? Is this much stronger than a 5700xt? Arma and Squad are very cpu hungry so do you think a 3700x will be strong enough to get over 60fps? For me its really important to have even in long range a clear and detailed sight.

Yea that should be more than enough I played arms 3 at max setting with i7 6700 and gtx 1070 getting around 30 FPS. Even though you don’t need one I would recommend a hard drive, they are inexpensive and could save some hassle down the line. Some games now like mortal Kombat 11 take 80 gigs. Just a recommendation.

I would base your build off the 3700X and see what your build comes to price wise. If you have enough for the 12 core 3900X then you could go with that if you wanted. You definitely don't need a 16 core 3950X though.

If you are waiting until August then see if the aftermarket 5700 XT gets released. The current blower cards run hot/loud. The RTX Super cards are ok to buy if you want something straight away. The 5700 XT is competing with the 2070 Super. There is also the 2080 Super as well if you don't want to pay 2080 ti prices.
