Thanks Luke - i will look at getting a new one. Is there one you would recommend - i am tempted with RMx (2018) 750 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply (£94.00 @ AWD-IT).

step down to the 650, or maybe get the txm if you don't mind something a little louder

Hi all,

Looking for some advice with my PSU. I currently have a XFX 850W XT Series Bronze Wired PSU (P1850SNLB9): https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0045L4BNW/?tag=pcp0f-21.

I saw the tiering list below and wondered if this will be enough for upgrading my PC (from 3770k to Ryzen 3700X or 3800X)?

I will probably look at getting a X470 Crosshair VII motherboard, 2x8Gb 3600mhz RAM, keep my 1080 (MSI Gaming X) and change out my Hyper Evo 212 and get either an AIO or Noctua NH-U14S.

I use the system for gaming on a ASUS PG278Q 1440 @ 144Hz (where possible) whilst watching shows on a second monitor. I also use GNS 3 (cisco networking labs) sometimes with multiple VMs running. with

Cheers! :)
